{"id":1579,"date":"2009-08-09T16:38:00","date_gmt":"2009-08-09T06:38:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blueknobgallery.com\/gallery\/?p=1579"},"modified":"2025-03-15T16:40:51","modified_gmt":"2025-03-15T05:40:51","slug":"print-3","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blueknobgallery.com\/gallery\/print-3\/","title":{"rendered":"\u201cPrint!\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>An exhibition of works by local artists<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Not &#8220;print&#8221; reproductions, laser- or news-print, but original art-works in which the artist has transcribed an image from brain to a surface of metal, wood, lino, vinyl, stone, masonite, glass, fine silk even, by variously cutting, scraping, scratching, etching, coating or masking &#8211; to produce multiple image copies by inking the surface and pressing it onto another surface.&nbsp;<br><br>Some of the most striking works of art known have been prints &#8211; think Toulouse-Lautrec posters.
