The last exhibition for 2017 is our annual show called The Artist\u2019s Choice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Blue Knob Hall Gallery runs themed exhibitions throughout the year that inspire and stimulate the artists to work to a certain theme. The Artist\u2019s Choice has no theme and often brings new art works out of the artist\u2019s collections that make for an interesting and diverse exhibition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year is no exception with an artist named Papillon who is exhibiting for the first time in the area. He has installed a piece that would not normally be found in a gallery. The pieces are usually installed in the forest where he plans and executes installations from manmade materials that are then photographed to capture the different light and conditions over a period of time. These ephemeral images are often other-worldly, and it is a delight to have this work in the Gallery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is an eclectic exhibition with ceramics from some of the Blue Knob Ceramic studio potters, paintings, photographs, fabric & fibre. This exhibition runs through to Feb 4th<\/sup> 2018.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Gallery, Cafe and Ceramic Studio will be closed over the Christmas-New Year period, from Sunday 24th<\/sup> Dec 2017 \u2013 Thurs Jan 11th<\/sup> 2018 for a much earned break for the wonderful volunteers who keep the Gallery, Cafe and Ceramic Studio going.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Gallery & Cafe will be open for Saturdays<\/em> only<\/em> during that period. The Blue Knob Farmers Market will continue throughout the holidays.  The Gallery, Cafe and market will be there and open for Sat 23rd <\/sup>Dec, Sat 30th<\/sup> December, and Sat 6th<\/sup> January.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
