{"id":1863,"date":"2025-04-23T16:38:32","date_gmt":"2025-04-23T06:38:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blueknobgallery.com\/gallery\/?p=1863"},"modified":"2025-04-23T16:38:36","modified_gmt":"2025-04-23T06:38:36","slug":"bob-bishell","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blueknobgallery.com\/gallery\/bob-bishell\/","title":{"rendered":"Bob Bishell"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Bob\u2019s Wood Works \u2013 Crofton Road Woodworks is the summary of Craftsman Robert Bishell\u2019s Life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>His timbers and materials are all recycled and have a history all of their own, often incorporating chapters of Bob\u2019s life living with the Gumatj People of East Arnhem Land and working in Gove N.T. while travelling extensively throughout Australia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the fifteen years he spent in the Top End honing his craft, he had the privilege of passing on most of his work to not-for-profit fund raising events and auctions; the proceeds going towards community projects, enhancing school facilities and supporting youth in the work force. His skills and imagination have allowed him to pursue his artistic ideals using repurposed and ecologically sustainable timbers to produce unique furniture and functional items for the home.
