Artists have given this theme some thought and produced works that cover everything from the real to the imagined. Amanda Doran\u2019s piece takes us to the world of childhood stories that we grew up with that explore the nature of the world and the wonder of it all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Clay Sisters<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Clay Sisters are 5 women who teach at the Blue Knob Ceramic Studio. Opening in 2016 the Studio was run by Heather Kimber as the founding member and has continued to run as a popular learning experience for the novice and experienced potter. Since then she fell in love once more with clay, especially wild clay and feels blessed to be a clay sister.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"280\" height=\"215\" src=\"https:\/\/blueknobgallery.com\/gallery\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/image-131.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-772\" style=\"width:504px;height:auto\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Tomo &#8211;<\/em>&nbsp;started her pottery journey for the first time with Heather when BKCS opened its doors. Her pottery experience has been wonderful and profound, and sometimes challenging. She also feels blessed to have the support of her amazing clay sisters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"340\" height=\"248\" src=\"https:\/\/blueknobgallery.com\/gallery\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/image-129.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-770\" style=\"width:512px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blueknobgallery.com\/gallery\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/image-129.png 340w, https:\/\/blueknobgallery.com\/gallery\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/image-129-300x219.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 340px) 100vw, 340px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Cathryn&nbsp;<\/em>&#8211; After a long absence from pottery, happened upon the BKCS when they moved to the area 5 years ago. Rediscovering her love for working with clay as a student at the ceramic studio, she was invited to become the 5th clay sister.&nbsp; Together they share the joys of &#8220;happy accidents&#8221; and commiserate the not so happy ones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"340\" height=\"190\" src=\"https:\/\/blueknobgallery.com\/gallery\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/image-128.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-769\" style=\"width:502px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blueknobgallery.com\/gallery\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/image-128.png 340w, https:\/\/blueknobgallery.com\/gallery\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/image-128-300x168.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 340px) 100vw, 340px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Genevieve Dav<\/em>ies \u2013 has a lifelong love of clay and enjoys working with people, and is privileged to be part of the clay sisters, giving people the opportunity to express themselves through clay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"220\" height=\"275\" src=\"https:\/\/blueknobgallery.com\/gallery\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/image-132.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-773\" style=\"width:292px;height:auto\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Christine Wynyard<\/em>&nbsp;\u2013 As an \u2018honorary clay sister\u2019 she has witnessed the dedication these women have to their craft, exploring their creativity, and&nbsp; experience to those who come along and sharing a creative life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Is the bottle half full or half empty?
