Paul Scott Retirement –
Paul Scott retired to a standing ovation on Sat 23rd on the cafe verandah, with Andy Walker and Dave Davies playing music during the morning for visitors and patrons. It was a spontaneous moment and a lovely atmosphere for the many that dropped by to wish him all the best on his last morning in the kitchen. (See photo below).
His hearty all day breakfasts and home-made pies were a big hit with customers.
We thank Paul for his tireless voluntary contribution to the Café, Gallery and Ceramic Studio and Paul would like to thank all the patrons and volunteers who have helped make the cafe a great success over the last 8 years. He hopes you will continue to support the Cafe and Gallery when we re-open in the New Year.
Many thanks to all those members who have been volunteering in the Cafe, it has enabled some good fundraising for the continual improvements at the Hall.
The cafe is operating as a fund raiser for the Hall, something which is reflected in the modest prices.
