“The Artist’s Choice” exhibition is the current show at Blue Knob Hall Gallery. This exhibition is freed from the constraints of a theme and allows for a wider variety of work. This show has a different feel, and the work that has come in from the artists is diverse, interesting and playful.

Inspiration has been drawn from the natural world around us; particularly the ocean, creeks and beach and the ever-changing relationship between land and water.

‘The Artist’s Choice’ members exhibition is freed from the constraints of a theme and allows for a wider variety of work from local artists.

“Where We Live” suggests looking at the essence of our environments – whether physical or emotional – and the impact they have on our lives.

The exhibiting artists have played with this theme that seemingly never ends.… the lines that we see in nature, the ‘lines’ in architecture, a simple line of a road or track that disappears into the distance and leads us somewhere else.

“From Earth We Come” is the new artists and members exhibition in the main gallery area. The theme for this exhibition was to evoke images of nature and the interconnectedness between humanity and nature.

“Art from the heART” is the new artists and members exhibition to start off the programme for 2024 at Blue Knob Hall Gallery.

‘The Artist’s Choice’ is the final exhibition for 2023 and with no designated theme the artists could bring in any works they wish to exhibit.

This exhibition is open to any artwork that artists and members wish to bring in. It’s always a treat to see what arrives.
